Florida Retina Specialists, with locations in Merritt Island & Viera, FL is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our exceptional team. We have a cohesive team of physicians and staff who respect one-another, enjoy working together, and have fun! Medical and ophthalmology experience is helpful. We will train on the job.

Responsibilities

*Bring patients back from waiting room, gather data from patient, enter into EHR software *Perform diagnostic testing *Assist physician with in-office procedures like lasers and injections *Scribe for physician during the medical exam into the Electronic Medical Records software

Qualifications

*Experience working in a medical field is very helpful *Familiarity working with electronic medical records *High attention to detail and willing to learn new medical terminology *Certifications and licenses that apply

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
