- Peoria and East Peoria facilities.
- Starting Pay ranges from $15.00 - $16.00 / hour (based on experience).
- 2nd pays shift differential above starting pay!
Job Summary
Safely operates power industrial truck (PIT) equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or similar location.
- Operates power industrial truck (PIT) (sit down, stand up &/or order picker) to:
- Transport parts from storage to designated area
- Remove loaded tubs from machine and replace with empty
- Remove material from conveyor, tags with date, shift and part, then deliver to a designated checkout area
- Prepare tubs to be moved to the pack out line
- Load and unload designated trailers
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience on one of the following power industrial trucks is preferred:
- sit-down or stand-up forklift
- order picker
- Completion of Company Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification upon hire is required
