For nearly 75 years Rice Lake Weighing Systems has been a successful, growth-oriented company known as a leader in the weighing industry and our community. We are seeking a driven, self-starter to join our growing company as a Material Coordinator on 1st shift.
At RLWS, the main responsibilities of the Material Coordinator include: managing timely inventory movement and fulfillment, issuing parts and materials to manufacturing areas and delivering product to multiple work centers, and moving of parts or products to final stock locations. The Material Coordinator continually looks for efficiencies in material handling processes and makes changes to streamline processes throughout the manufacturing area. The employee also ensures that parts are correctly inventoried, entered, and transferred to the appropriate areas in a timely and efficient manner. The Material Coordinator works as a part of a cross-functional team to support our fast-paced environment. *This position may be eligible for our new $100/week incentive based on performance and hours worked! Education and Experience
Skills and Abilities
Some computer skills preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to drive forklift, push material carts and use pallet jacks required
Previous material handling experience preferred
