The American Poolplayers Association, the world's largest organization of recreational pool leagues, is looking for an experienced and passionate video and production assistant to join our team. We're looking for a team player with a strong eye for what is seen within the frame of a camera and running live productions. You'll play an important role in our organization's media through the creation of online content and marketing resources for our franchise network.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• College Degree or Significant Experience
• Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
• Knows the basics of camera equipment (i.e. Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed,f-stop, focal length, framing, lighting, sound recorders, movement)
• Be familiar with video post production
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to learn new skills and new equipment quickly.
• Must be 21 or older
• Some Travel Required (Vegas/Florida - a total of approx 30 days a year)
• Photography is a plus
• Experience using Outlook for emails/calendars and Slack is a plus
• A team player and works well with others.

YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO LEARN:

• How to set up a stream using mics, computers, soundboards, cameras,switchers, internet, etc.
• How to run the NewTek TriCaster video production system
• Filming video on set and on location
• Editing footage after recording

JOB DUTIES:

• Works closely on various video projects with the marketing team.
• Helps produce live video productions.
• Care for and operate professional video, photo, and audio equipment.
• Collaborate with shooters and editors to revise the work of previously madecontent to new styles of content.
• Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Communicate frequently with the marketing team and other involved individuals to update them on the progress of projects.
• Assist with the creation of social media content.
• Other duties as requested.
