Marketing Analyst
Job description
This role collects, analyzes, and reports out on performance data for various Marketing Channel campaigns and programs. This includes (but is not limited to) B2B website content, plus Sales Rep-facing programs and platforms.
This person will use quantifiable data to become an expert in sales team behavior and will regularly consult other members of the Sales and Channel Marketing team by identifying areas of opportunity and highlighting potential ways to optimize success. They will design and produce regular reporting for Sales-Rep Programs centered around 2 main objectives: Sales Representative Engagement and Preferred Supplier Sales Growth. This position will also offer data-backed suggestions to maximize potential sales growth or desired rep. behavior.
Additionally, this role will produce performance metrics reporting for several sections of our B2B website.
A successful candidate is an experienced, analytical “data hound” with a willingness to work across multiple cross-functional partners to uncover and synthesize information. They must also be willing and able to act as an analyst for both digital and other traditional channel marketing tactics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs & manages performance reporting for Sales Representative Incentive Program (Drive), utilizing PowerBI data exports and other data sources
- Coordinates with Sales Effectiveness to ensure ongoing edits & maintenance of Power BI “Drive Scorecard,” plus conduct periodic audits of Sales Representative Hierarchy within existing reporting platforms to ensure accuracy of reporting structure
- Compiles and submits sales rep bonus incentive payments & backend accounting documents
- Oversees reporting for additional sales rep-facing platforms as needed, namely High Spot
- Builds regular reports for and analyzes performance of some MMS.Mckesson.com website content
- Conducts other ad-hoc channel marketing performance analysis, as needed
Critical Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel (including V-Lookups & Pivot Tables)
- Google Analytics Navigation
- Power Point (intermediate level)
- Analytical Abilities: Manipulates and organizes data to identify patterns and trends to ultimately glean actionable insights for Marketing group
- Communication: Strong written and verbal abilities, with ability to translate numbers and data into understandable and meaningful implications.
- Collaboration: Builds professional relationships and understands how to navigate a complex organization to get things accomplished
- Independence: Is a self-starter, able to carry out job responsibilities with high degree of autonomy
Other Minimum Requirements:
- 3+Years Analytical Experience
- 2+Years in Marketing Organization (will consider equivalent work in partnership with Marketing)
- 1+ Years supporting Website or other Digital Marketing
- BA or BS Degree (will consider equivalent experience )
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Looker/ Data Studio
- Familiarity with Power BI
- History of Data Visualization tool use
- Exposure to SQL writing and queries

Our Base Pay Range for this position
