Job Summary:

Make assemblies or subassemblies of components of products related to the manufacture of electrodes, according to the specifications and established instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspection to raw material and / or subsets of previous assembled electrodes, ensuring that they are free of any visible defects.
  • Depending on the assignment, you may be responsible for performing all or some of the following operations:
    • Blowing or forming glass
    • Manufacture of pellets with hydraulic press
    • Cable Manufacturing
    • Marking and labeling of the product with logo
    • Welding
  • Perform any other necessary operation in the manufacture of a product and has been fully trained by a group leader or other assembler with more experience and properly documented.
  • Verify that the parts being used are in good condition and are correctly assembled depending on the assembly or product being manufactured.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
  • Perform a visual inspection of the assembly work being done to make sure it is of the best quality possible.
  • Responsible for performing all tasks assigned efficiently and safely.
  • Ability and knowledge of the overall assigned area or cell.
  • Preform other duties assigned by your supervisor as required.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of units of measurement and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8-10 hours.
  • Use of Safety Personal Protection Equipment is required, while the assigned tasks are carried out, as well as they must be trained and able to follow the safety procedures.
  • Willing to work overtime in the short term, this may include but is not limited to weekends.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to accurately follow processes and procedures.
  • Able to string, pick up, manipulate small parts, and make repetitive movements with substantial movements of the wrists, hands and / or fingers.
  • Essential functions require grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm and extending the hands and arms in any direction.
  • Ability to use both hands to perform the formation of glass pieces or manipulation with small tools.
  • Ability to move within different working cells.
