As a Manager of Market Research, you will use your expertise in medical device research to support our innovation pipeline and new product development for our med surge and ICU beds, including surfaces and connectivity strategy.

What you'll be doing
- Lead all aspects of large-scale, complex, market research and/or consumer insight projects and analysis conducted internally or by external partners of the company's markets, competition, customers, and product mix. Projects may often be cross-functional, cross-business, cross-geography, and/or multi-year in nature.
- Design, implement, analyze, and report on market research and/or consumer insight projects to drive operational and creative strategies
- Lead and/or conduct research studies and make recommendations for new market areas, adapting for future market conditions, driving consumer behavior, and/or predicting future buying patterns
- Analyze the competitive environment sales records, market penetration, market potential, and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings
- Manage Clinical Product Validation, Early Adopter process and contract execution
- Lead coordination and on-site support of early product release testing in multiple clinical environments including but not limited to ICU, Med-Surg, Operating Room and Emergency Department.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 3 years conducting market research or related field in medical device industry required
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, cross-geography, and longitudinally with teams
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online research software tools (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey or other online research tools)
- An established professional with a track record of success in area of expertise. Key skills and abilities include influencing, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving
- Experience moderating 1:1 and group interviews, writing questionnaires/discussion guides
- Ability to understand research goals/objectives, recommend qualitative and/or quantitative research methodology approaches, implement research independently or in collaboration with research partner, and translate results for internal clients
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 plus an annual incentive bonus, commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
