Job Description Summary

The Manager, Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the daily operations of all aspects of supply chain logistics and central warehousing of supplies. Under limited supervision, the Manager spearheads initiatives to optimize the storage and movement of medical supplies and equipment and manages the strategic use of the systems central warehouse at the CSC. The Manager assists Supply Chain leadership in the tactical operations of warehousing and logistics for all locations in the MUSC system.

Job Description

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business administration or other similar field. Candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of 5-7 years of appropriate experience is required. Computer/internet skills to include use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) is required. Ability to understand and report on general business financial concepts is required. Strong interpersonal; client relations; fact finding; analytical; project management; presentation; and communication (written/verbal) skills are needed. Under minimal supervision will respond to project demands within deadlines. Professionalism, poise/grace under pressure a must. Individual will portray high energy, positive attitude and team orientation in all interactions.
