MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Trillium Management MSV, LLC is seeking to fill a position for a full-time Maintenance Technician to assist ownership and Maintenance Supervisor with property and facility maintenance, management and upkeep for an apartment community in the Kalamazoo area.
Trillium Management MSV, LLC has been managing multifamily properties since 2007 and oversees the management of over 1,300 residential units in west Michigan.
Reports to: Property Manager & Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician (position may include all or some of the duties listed below. Some duties may not be listed)
- Assists Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the physical condition and appearance of the facility in order to maintain and enhance the value of the property.
- Maintain and upkeep grounds, mechanicals.
- Communicates and operates in accordance to the company policies and safety standards
- Complete and follow up on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Fosters a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with residents, staff, and management.
- On-call work may be required.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Must be able to pass a background check (no violent felonies).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Experience in multi-family or commercial maintenance preferred.
- Certified Maintenance Technician preferred.
- Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building trades.
- Clean, presentable and affable around residents and prospective residents.
- Ability to work independently without supervision or in groups.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and transport appliances, climb a ladder, work with arms above head, stand for extended periods, bend at waist and be generally able in every way.
- Experience with Yardi or other property management software preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
