JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Greenville, SC. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for being involved in all areas of the plant maintenance.

Responsibilities of a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN includes:

• Safety and Housekeeping; Machine cleaning
• Basic electrical & mechanical knowledge; Basic PLC
• Troubleshooting machine repairs; mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, water systems and electrical
• Assist in maintaining facility equipment to include air compressors, air dryers, chillers, and cooling towers
• Knowledge of injection molding machines, automation machines, and automatic take offs
• Read blueprints and interpret requirements for mechanical function
• Perform machines PMS and Rebuilds (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical)
• Wire basic electrical circuits.
• Read and interpret machine schematics
• Research and request repair parts as needed with quotes
• Knowledge of Robotic and runner pickers

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical Degree in a Maintenance Related field
• 3 years’ experience or 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Technician
• Self- Motivated individual that works well with other technical trades.
• Technician must have a working knowledge of operating milling machines, lathe machine, torches, cutting tools, and other maintenance support tools.
• Fabrication and welding knowledge
• Technician must be able to handle multiple task and working under pressure
• HVAC Experience a plus (not required)
• Basic computer skills
