This is a first shift role with an expected start time of 5:00AM.

This is a direct role with a leading Tier 1 that is producing door panels.

Job Description

• The Maintenance Supervisor is an integral to the overall development and success of their workplaces. Manage & lead the maintenance staff.
• Lead Technical Support Functions (e.g. Maintenance, Special Projects, etc.). This also includes but is not limited to Current Production, Product Launch, Process Launch, and PM Strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead PLC and HMI maintenance & trouble shooting (including Ladder logic); Perform & diagnose hydraulic leaks and PMs.
• Schedule, coordinate and direct all necessary maintenance and construction work.
• Make preliminary, intermediate, and final inspection of maintenance and construction work to ensure proper workmanship, materials, and conformance to work methods and safety regulations.
• Meet with senior management regularly and provide monthly budgets and project status.
• Read advanced electrical and blueprint schematic.
• Support Integrated circuit troubleshooting; wire control circuits for 5, 12, 24, and 120 volts; advanced pneumatic circuit design.
• Maintain machine functionality.
• Prioritize work-day schedule.
• Ensure all employees follow the safety guidelines established by the Company.
• Actively intervene to correct recognized unsafe actions and conditions.
• Conduct daily observations of PPE use and safe work practices adherence and coach employees as needed; Ensure that all accidents including first aid are reported.
• Oversee hourly employee timecards, including approvals for overtime and vacation within the Kronos system.
• Conduct regular meetings with teams, whether as a whole or through one-on-one discussions.
• Provide each team member an objective or goal that they will monitor progressor status on throughout the year.
• Complete employee development plans, organize, communicate, and motivate employees
• Conduct performance reviews of team members provide feedback and make promotion recommendations or salary increases

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Maintenance
• 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry
• Advanced Welding skills and experience with welding tools.
• Knowledge of Timer's & Counter theory; Electronics' theory; Encoders/decoders theory; OHM's Law; Hydraulics theory & functionality.
• Capable of sizing motor starters and overloads for application
• Forklift & Overhead crane experience (Certification will be required).
• TS 16949 & ISO 14001 orientation / awareness training.
• Experience with basic shop tools (hand tools, drills, lathes, and milling machine); Bridge & Rail Cranes; Drilling/tapping; Circuit design & layout; Cutting & threading pipe; Basic pneumatic troubleshooting & repair; Building maintenance- plat lighting, compressors and emergency lighting; Bending conduit and pulling wire; Installation & set-up of motor contractors and VFDS.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• injection molding background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
