A rock and recycle center in Porterville Ca is looking for a maintenance mechanic to join their team. This individual must be experienced Client works anywhere between 8-12 hours daily Mon-Fri some Saturdays during the day, they start very early in the morning sometimes at 4am and depending on weather conditions and heat. Responsibilities

Ability and knowledge to do preventive maintenance and repair to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsible for good housekeeping of maintenance shop area.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

 Must be able to communicate in an effective and respectful manner.

 Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

 Ability to read, write and understand directions.

 Ability and knowledge to read and understand electronic drawings.

Trained and passed Lift-Truck Operation Safety Course.

 Safety consciousness is a must have.

 Be willing to accept training as a first-aid responder.

 Posses overall mechanical skills needed to minimize downtime.

 Willing to rotate shifts.

 Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed
