Position Summary: Responsible for maintenance personnel and the repair, maintenance and safety of corporate Shape facilities, machinery and equipment.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
Requirements:
- Maintain safe working environment by ensuring the company's procedures and policies are followed.
- Staff Management:
- Conduct timely and complete performance evaluations of direct associates; and ensure timely and complete performance evaluations of associates reporting under indirect supervision
- Assess subordinate's skill sets, current and future development needs and take steps to mentor and develop them appropriately
- Develop and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance procedures for equipment.
- Provide timely response to manufacturing maintenance needs and facility support.
- Conduct and participate in Problem Solving/Root Cause analysis for issues relating to maintenance/safety.
- Assist in providing measurement(s) for energy conservation, environmental support, and continuous improvement ideas/activities to achieve goals relating to improved efficiency.
- Promote safety and occupational effectiveness by ensuring corporate training requirements are completed, including those required by state/federal agencies.
- Purchase spare parts and materials to maintain equipment.
- Assess staffing needs, and candidate's technical qualifications.
- Responsible for emergency management response and auditing, onsite safety/security, and serve as Incident Commander.
- Adhere to all TS and ISO standards that apply to all Shape facilities.
- Maintain non-manufacturing support equipment.
- Direct Corporate Master Electrician to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal codes.
- Direct and manage external contractors and contracts; ensure adherence to corporate safety and training requirements.
- Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent.
- Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.

- Journeyman card holder or Bachelors Degree in related field.
- Previous mechanical/electrical maintenance background.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5-10 years maintenance leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
