Job description

The Charter Township of West Bloomfield is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Field Technician for our Water Utilities Department. Duties include performing tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection systems. This is a full time position paying $44,116.80 - $59,571.20 (depending on qualifications) per year plus excellent benefits.

Minimum Requirements:
*High school diploma or equivalent required.
*Mechanical ability with experience in public works, construction contracting, or mechanical field preferred.

Special Items:
*Required to be part of a rotating on-call system during which is required to respond to emergency call on a 24-hour basis.*
*Overtime is expected to be occasionally required and worked including on-call.*
