For over 40 years, LifePath has been providing a variety of community and residential services to individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout 6 counties in Pennsylvania. Maintenance Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to working in a variety of locations, primarily residential group homes in Upper Bucks and Montgomery Counties and 2 program/office buildings. Within the guidelines set by the Building and Grounds Supervisor, prioritize work requests, schedule and complete maintenance requests. Will complete all necessary safety and maintenance needs in compliance with State and Company Regulations and be responsible for performing various semi-skilled tasks in the area of hazards and precautions in maintenance, repair work including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical, and maintenance of machinery, fire systems, buildings and equipment. Will be available for immediate maintenance needs as they arise.

Full Time 40 hours Monday – Friday, with on-call rotation. Company vehicle and tools are provided for work hours with pick up and drop off at regional office in Sellersville.

Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:

-At least one year experience working in the field of maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and repair work (resume should reflect this experience)

-At least eighteen (18) years of age

-Valid driver's license with 3 year clean driving record

- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 50lbs

-High School Diploma or equivalent
