Job Summary:
Speacialty Machine company looking for an experienced Machinist
- 2+ years experience
- Basic knowledge of Blueprints and stock material
Key Responsibilities:
To take raw purchased or provided material thru the build process to customer provided blueprints. Will need to round up all materials and purchased parts. Will need to coordinate from drawings to materials, roughing in materials and leaving enough stock to machine after Heat Treat if applicable. Will need to leave stock on in some areas for final assembly. This is where there is a need for basic knowledge of blueprints and materials.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must have material knowledge to know how to machine the parts
- materials range from stainless steel to different grades of heat treatable steels to plastics, and aluminum
- knowledge of cutting tools and different grades depending on the material to be machined.
- Basic knowledge of hole sizes and tap drill sizes to get the threading process correct.
- Vocational technical school graduate and 2+ years experience
