HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MACHINE OPERATOR IN ADDISON, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator to join our client in Addison, IL. This individual will be responsible for setting up machines, observing operations, and inspecting first runs and samples of workpieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $20.90/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
• Monday through Friday, 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm
• Located in Addison, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Sets up the machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample workpiece to ensure machining conforms to specifications
• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as wire type, dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, and tooling instructions
• Selects installs and adjusts specified tooling to conform to the production run sheet and sets forming speeds and feed rates
• Performs routine lubrication and preventative maintenance inspections as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in cold-heading, pointing, and/or threading preferred
• Capable of using standard tools and measurement devices such as micrometers, scales, rulers, depth gauges, and calipers
• Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, blueprints, quality specifications, and other related documents
