Job description

Cortland Line has an opening for an experienced machine operator in our fly line department. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring and adjusting controls where necessary on machines used in fly line manufacture. During the manufacturing process the operator periodically performs quality control checks on the fly line production and makes adjustments to the equipment as needed. This position works with maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order and works with sales and the manufacturing manager to ensure quality and production meets standards. The machine operator must observe and follow company safety rules and regulations. Applicant should have general mechanical knowledge, an understanding of safety rules, and good computer, math and reading skills. Cortland Line Company is a manufacturer of fishing lines and a distributor of fishing tackle.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
