Position Overview:
The Logistic Coordinator will be positioned to liaison between internal operations support and customer requested support. This individual serves as the point of contact to coordinate the use of assets and personnel by our customers. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach both internal and external.

Essential Functions:
  • Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information.
  • Use the radio, phone or computer to direct field assets and other field units to the appropriate field sites.
  • Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
  • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments and operation support staff.
  • Point of contact for the master schedule of all assets and updates to the area specified by management so that the management team can prioritize their daily schedules.
  • Operate and manage a multi-line telephone console system.
  • Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.
  • Actively communicates with all field personnel to determine customer satisfaction is met.
  • General working knowledge of OSHA and DOT standards and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory standards.
  • General understanding of equipment capabilities and requirements of different types of jobs.
  • Ability to work afternoon shift and take on-call as needed.
Qualifications:
Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Special Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Experience dispatching within an adjacent industry
  • Proficiency with SalesForce financial and scheduling models preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of emergency processes and procedures
  • Proficient in MS office with proven experience in data entry
  • Ability to work well under pressure
