GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED LIFT VAN DRIVERS
$500 HIRING BONUS: $150 after 45 days; $150 after 90 days; $200 after 6 months
McGregor PACE, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE site) has employment opportunities experienced Transport Drivers.
We are seeking experienced Customer service focused LIFT VAN DRIVERS who are responsible for the safe transport of our frail older program participants to/from their homes, the Day Health Center and off-site medical appointments daily from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
MUST be consistently attentive, resourceful, efficient, and courteous ensuring the timely, safe and efficient transport of individuals with mobility issues and dementia in our 12-15 seat Passenger Vans.
Prior experience transporting people with special mobility needs required. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Ohio Driver’s License with two points or less. No weekends.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MANDATORY Covid-19 Vaccination compliance
- Prior experience working with the frail or elderly population, transporting children or individuals with mobility needs.
- Competence in transporting individuals with special mobility needs including wheelchairs and walkers.
- Excellent driving skills; experienced navigating 12-15 seat wheelchair lift passenger vans.
- Knowledge of Cuyahoga County roads preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent. Current valid Ohio Driver's license; clean driving record. Defensive driving course, passenger assistance certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS!
