Job description

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers are encouraged to consider an outstanding career opportunity with Liberty Healthcare Corporation.

As an Assessor with Liberty, you will assess client health and environmental factors to help determine their eligibility for services. This includes assessing client’s activities of daily living and evaluating client’s home environment – and completing electronic reports related to client’s health status, diagnoses, medications and other pertinent factors.

These are field-based positions which require regular daily travel to clients who are in their homes, nursing facilities or hospitals throughout the DC Metro Area.

This role is limited to conducting assessments and does not involve direct patient care.

As an Assessor you can expect:

  • $90,000 annual salary
  • $3,000 bonus (payable throughout the first year of employment)
  • Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance and 401k
  • Reimbursement for work-related mileage

You have the option to work a traditional full-time schedule, compressed four-day workweek, or flexible part-time schedule. You may work either weekdays, weekends, or a mix of both. Both daytime and evening hours are available.

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed in DC as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

You should also be able to effectively use a laptop and also be willing to use your own vehicle for travel daily throughout the DC Metro area.

Liberty Healthcare Corporation operates a program in the District of Columbia which serves people who are applying for long term care services and supports. The goal of this program is to enable people to receive the support services they need to live as independently as possible – while applying a valid, reliable and quality assessment process to prevent fraud, waste and abuse. Specific services include intake, applicant eligibility assessment, level of care determinations, recommending a range of service hours, and linking beneficiaries to home health providers.
