Our Approach to Therapy:

We are interested in therapists joining our team who value and are interested in non-expert and non-symptom reduction models of therapy. A better and more clear way to say this is that we are interested in therapists whose main modality is basically anything but C.B.T. We don't have anything against C.B.T.; we just value non-expert and non-homework giving forms of therapy for the client experience we provide. We believe when you give weekly homework in the form of worksheets or otherwise that this creates an expert/client relationship that is reminiscent of teacher/student one up/one down relatationship where the therapist is going to 'do' or 'give' something to the client to help them. That may be helpful to some people but it is not the experience we want to provide for our clients. We value person-centered, humanistic, mindfulness, post-modern, and psychodynamic forms of therapy where the focus is on providing a safe space for the client to share their deepest thoughts, painful feelings, life story, and that the answers to their healing and growth lies within them. We believe that therapy is more of an art than a science and we look for therapists to join our team who share that belief. We are also looking for someone who already has education, training, or a background in psychodynamic therapy, psychoanalysis, Jungian psychotherapy, existential/humanistic therapy, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, IFS, Gestalt therapy, EFT, Gottman, Mindfulness, DBT, or Attachment Theory.

Position Details:

We are looking for a full-time or part-time licensed psychotherapists (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PsyD, PhD) to join our thriving group practice in Long Beach. We are a hybrid practice offering in-person services at our office locations in Long Beach, Cerritos and we also provide online teletherapy throughout California. Candidates must be communicative, driven, creative, collaborative, and enhance our fun, independent, positive minded, and connected group of highly skills clinicians. We are an eclectic, open-minded, holistic, humanistic, and psychodynamic based counseling center. We are looking for pre-licensed therapists that are eager to learn and grow with us. We are a diverse group of clinicians and strongly encourage people of color, minorities, and LGBTQ+ candidates to apply. Having completed a significant amount of time in your own therapy or personal growth work is also a plus. The ideal candidate would know how to work independently and have a deep passion for providing excellent client care.

Job Types:

• Part Time (Minimum 10 client's per week)
• Full Time (Full-time (20-35 per week)

Supervision:

The licensed candidate also has the option of providing supervision to our pre-licensed therapists. Supervision is paid at $125 per hour.

Pay: 70-108K per years. Wage varies depending on the amount of clients the therapists want to see per week and how many hours of supervision they provide to our pre-licensed therapists.

Schedule:

* The work schedule if very flexible! Full Time Therapists work usually 2-3 days providing in-person service and 2-3 days providing online therapy. This would require commuting to office only 2 days per week if that fits your schedule and location. This also gives you the option of having 3 day weekend. Part time therapist can work remotely 100% for the time if they choose.

Requirements

• Active CA license of LMFT/LCSW/LPCC
• Strong demonstrated commitment to professional skills including legal and ethical standards.
• Must be available to work during core business hours Monday through Friday but scheduling is flexible.
• Be humble and hungry for the group practice building experience
