Passavant Memorial Homes is currently looking to fill an overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position under our Children’s Program located in the Fox Chapel Area. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) be responsible for managing care for a small group of children residing in a residential setting. Candidates must have attention to detail and a dedication to providing quality care. The schedule consists of 12 hour mixed shifts (36 hours per week) with rotating weekends.
Week #1: Sunday 8:00pm - 8:00am, Tuesday 8:00pm - 8:00am, Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm
Week #2: Tuesday 8:00pm - 8:00am, Friday 8:00am - 8:00pm, Saturday 8:00pm - 8:00am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN):
- Perform clinical nursing skills, with knowledge and understanding of fundamentals including, but not limited to, systems assessments, medication administration, trach maintenance and care, ventilator maintenance and monitoring, PRN oxygen administration, pulse ox monitoring, use of cough assist and suctioning, ileostomy care, blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, J-tube feedings, urinary catheterization.
- Coordinate health care needs for individuals.
- On-site monitoring of the community residential settings, as required.
- Complete dietary in-service for specialized diets and send to community homes.
- Other duties, as assigned by the Site Supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN):
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional and/or practical nursing, with a current license by examination from the State of Pennsylvania, required.
- Valid PA driver’s license, required.
- An understanding of the Mental Health/Intellectual Disability field, preferred.

- Prospective employee hired for the Licensed Practical Nurse position will receive a $10,000 sign‐on bonus. New employee will receive $5,000 after completion of orientation, $2,500 after completion of 6 months of employment and $2,500 after completion of 12 months of employment. Employee must stay in full-time position to receive the whole bonus amount. Sign-on bonus is eligible for prospective employees hired from March 1, 2023 through May 31, 2023.
