Y Kids Learning Center is seeking a Toddler teacher who is loving, fun, and energetic Are you looking to join a supportive team and an organization that offers excellent benefits? This is a full-time 40 hr. week position. Candidate must be EEC Lead Toddler certified and have at least one year of experience working with toddlers. Responsibilities include:
- The knowledge of best practices and Toddler educational methods for planning and implementing curriculum which promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Establishing positive relationships, interactions, and communication between children, staff, and families.
- Work as a supportive team member within the classroom and center.
- Ability to work with and give direction to other teachers within the classroom.
- Attend training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Responsible for tracking and gathering evidence of each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth for assessment purposes.
- Maintain both daily written and verbal communication with parents/guardians as applicable.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. and sit on the floor with children.
Salary is based on education, certification, and experience. Benefits to be discussed at the interview.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
