The main responsibilities may include technical design, planning, architecture development, build modifications, and support of clinical applications. Develops specification for new and existing products/services and applications using the tools to develop, troubleshoot, and drive business specifications for product and component integration points. Manage product gaps from business specifications to product enhancement and/or business process change. Manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams. Support changes aspect of product rollout and coordination with internal teams. Define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications. Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts. Manage user acceptance testing and transfer of information to internal teams. Provide technical build, analysis, and support for implemented applications; diagnosing and reporting bugs, applying patches and upgrades as needed.


Responsibilities

As a Lead Solution Architect, you will provide enterprise-wide healthcare IT expertise with client engagement to deliver large and small scale application build and solution design to achieve defined benefits. This includes the lead and support of the client through current build changes, upgrades, system changes, and enhancements. Ongoing system maintenance, as well as acting as the primary consultant for the client’s solution; troubleshooting and knowledge transfer. As a member of this team, you will develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support, while also resolving escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise. You will be responsible for resolving clinical application concerns raised during installation, operation, and maintenance, perform test script execution, and create and participate in unit and integrated testing.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8-10 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 7-10 years’ experience in information technology (HCIT), HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.
    • At least 2 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area of study

  • Healthcare IT Solution support
  • Cerner Millennium Build Tools
  • End-to-End Enterprise Solution Support
  • Basic HL7 knowledge
  • Enterprise Networking concepts
  • Server management, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Workstation management and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Cerner Millennium applications, specifically RadNet build tools
  • Familiar with Radiology/Cardiology application support
    • PACS
    • Dictation solutions
    • Image Sharing
    • Post-Processing solutions
    • Structured Reporting

Expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations, projects, and client expectations
  • Weekly on call rotation with the team and schedule flexibility for projects and go lives as needed for the organization.
  • Consult with client on current workflows and recommend future state workflows.
  • Consult with client on system changes and ongoing system maintenance
  • Provide client partners troubleshooting and knowledge transfer
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge and engagement support
  • Resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise
  • Resolve client concerns raised during operation and maintenance of solution application
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position experience
