Jeff's Outdoor Services in Pine City is expanding! We are looking for a full-time Pesticide Applicator to join our lawn care team and provide lawn services from April-November. Work week includes Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Work weeks can range from 30 to 50 hours per week depending on Mother Nature. Overtime after 40 hours. We have good, reliable company vehicles, trailers and equipment.

What we require:

• Pesticide Applicator License in categories A & E through the state of MN (we can help you acquire this)
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (must be coverable through our insurance)
• Current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain a DOT Health Card Prior to employment
• Able to safely back up a trailer, load & unload equipment
• Ability to read and understand MSDS
• Have exceptional written and oral communication skills

This is what your typical workday would look like:

Come in at your designated start time, use time clock

Grab your routes that are scheduled for the day

• Make sure you have all your equipment ready
• Get into your assigned truck/trailer and head out for the day
• Perform weed control & fertilization services for commercial and residential businesses
• Fill out required paperwork for each customer you service that day and for the office
• Measure lawns, give accurate estimates and help sell our services
• Return to the office once you have completed your routes
• Fuel up your truck, chat with your lead and/or the office about how your day went
• Complete and turn in all paperwork requirements for the day, clock out

Sounds great, right!? If weather conditions are ever not quite right for spraying that day, we may ask you to do some of the following (also known as "other duties as assigned")

• Mulching, aerating, weeding, raking and removing thatch, trimming and edging
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners and saws
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, chainsaws, hedge and brush trimmers

Experience:

• Chemical Spraying Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
