About us

Fischer Land Surveying & Engineering is located in Langdon, ND. Our clients consist of private, county, state and federal agencies. We have continued to grow our client base and projects over the past 28 years. We design open channel drains which demands hydrology, hydraulics and construction engineering. We have helped create 30 assessment drains in northeastern ND. We specialize in cadastral surveys. We also do topographic surveys, construction staking, ALTA surveys, commercial, rural, residential and lake lot surveys.

We are a small company where every employee matters and can make a difference. We will provide on-the-job training in a relaxed atmosphere and safe working environment. We have state of the art equipment and software.

The successful applicant should have an associates degree from accredited survey program. The ideal applicant would have some cadastral and construction staking experience. The applicant should have knowledge in MS Office and Civil 3D. Applicant will be trained in GPS using Trimble GPS equipment and robotics.

FLS&E works with an established client base with room to grow. Employees are home in the evenings, but may require rare overnight travel on occasion. The advantage of working with a small firm is you get to take a project from conception to construction. You learn all phases of a project not just one area. There is unlimited room to grow within the company. Can you present your ideas to our clients in a manner that they can understand?

Applicant must have a clear driving record and may be subject to a drug test and background check. The applicant will be both indoors and outdoors and must be capable of lifting 50# and do manual field labor tasks such as driving in rebar/lathe for staking. This is an hourly position.
