Weatherization Laborer/ Home Construction
Job Description

We are currently looking for technicians to assist our energy assessment crew, and insulation crew. You will be working under the direction of the Crew Lead to weatherize homes . You will also assist in completing insulation, siding and window installation projects. A background check is needed a requirement.

Job Location: All of Eastern Connecticut but focus on New London, Middlesex, Windham counties and southern RI.

Responsibilities: Installation of energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), Dense pack wall insulation, caulking, Foam air sealing, lighting, thermostats, CO detectors, and installation of weather stripping.

Assist with loading and unloading work trucks.

Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized and safe.

Assist with customer site job set up and tear down.

Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks.

Ability to read job scope and identify additional work opportunities.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Must be willing to work in attics which can be hot and tight

Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.

No experience needed we will train you.

General Carpentry skills a plus but not necessary

Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.

Ability to utilize common hand tools.

Ability to measure, cut, and prepare for energy savings installation.

Background Check may be needed

Must have a vehicle and valid drivers license

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Dynamic Building & Energy Solutions LLC Works with Eversource ,UI and National Grid providing energy savings home assessments in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
