The Loader works with a team of drivers and operates various equipment to facilitate the transportation of biosolids (sludge) from tanker to land application process. Agriculture background preferred. This position requires physical activity including heavy lifting and climbing throughout the day. The Loader is responsible for properly sealing valves, venting, and operating pumps. Additional responsibilities can span a variety of general labor activities throughout the facility. Majority of daily work outdoors. Flexibility with tasks involving debris removal, pressure washing, or equipment and vehicle cleaning as needed. This position requires the ability to work in a self starting environment with minimal supervision to achieve daily requirements.

This position is based at our corporate headquarters and will require some overnight travel to project locations (up to 25-40 nights away per year). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively. Clean driving record required and willingness to obtain Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - existing Class A or B a plus!

Responsibilities

• Tend to Tanker upon arrival to site by venting tank, monitoring levels, communicating with driver
• Attach hose connectors to tanker and terra-gator equipment to transition material from one unit to the other or to biocentre
• Manipulate controls to set, activate and adjust flow of biosolid material
• Observe and listen to equipment operation to detect any malfunctions
• Notify Operations Manager when issues arise
• Additional duties may include a variety of activities throughout the day including pressure washing, debris removal, site clean up, equipment clean up as needed

Salary

$15.00 - $17.00 PLUS bonus opportunity and cost of CDL training cost assistance provided!

• Prior work experience as a laborer
• Willingness to apply hands on experience to agricultural equipment and material
• Ability to take directions and apply to situations; adaptable to various personalities
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Willing to obtain Commercial Driver’s License
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
