Job Summary
- Understand who our customers are and what our customers expect of us.
- Be the first to respond to any customer request or need.
- Support other members of the work team in meeting customer needs.
- Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
- Responsible for the oversight of laboratory testing and day-to-day supervision of staff and students in the assigned section for the Parkview Medical Center main laboratory and Parkview Pueblo West Lab.

Certification
- Medical Laboratory Scientist certification through the ASCP or equivalent required. Specialist certification in the area of supervision preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Medical laboratory Science, Life Science or a related field required.
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 4 years medical laboratory experience as a generalist or in the specialty area of supervision. Candidates with doctoral or master’s degrees may have less experience if approved by the laboratory medical director.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
