We are looking for a highly organized Kitchen Manager who can come be part of a newly established team!

Your duties would include the following day to day responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the kitchen with regard to hiring, training, motivating, and leading employees.
• Control food and labor cost through purchasing, controlling inventory, pricing new dishes, and proper scheduling.
• Consistently produce high quality food with a focus on quick turn out and presentation.
• Maintaining food quality with a high volume of prep and orders.
• Coordinate with Corporate Chef to create new additions and offerings.
• Plan for the day to day kitchen duties, assigning staff appropriately and planning production needs with food, schedules, equipment etc.
• Ensure proper organization and cleanliness of all back of house and follow sanitation rules and guidelines on the local, state, and federal level.
• Create and maintain professional working relationships with purveyors, employees, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Keep all equipment and tools in good working order and communicate quickly any issues concerning equipment needs.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with coworkers, employees, and supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Culinary experience: 5 years (Required)
