This is a full-time/ direct-hire and onsite role, meaning No C2C/C2H, No Remote and No Hybrid.
What does a great Java Developer do?
As a Developer, you will be a valuable technical resource designing and developing enterprise solutions on on-perm solution and working with Solution Architects. You will have an opportunity to work effectively on big and complex projects independently, and within a collaborative team-oriented environment. If you’re a self-motivated developer with strong problem solving skills, and proven track record in Java technologies that can help in the design and development, we want to talk to you! You will research and suggest modern ways of development using cloud solutions.
What you will do:
Design and maintain large-scale high frequency, low latency applications.
Interact with the product management team in understanding requirements and provide estimates, high level design and detailed design for product and customer enhancements.
Utilize your hands-on experience in Java, Microservices, and RESTful API development to develop and support applications through the SDLC
Develop the CI/CD pipeline, test automation framework, and automate build and deployment processes
Collaborate with internal teams and product partners to build and deliver world-class software
Complete security scans, support PII data masking, and review data encryption processes before deploying software into production environment
Ensure code is well structured, maintainable, and of high quality
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience using Java, RESTful APIs, JDBC/Hibernate/JPA, Messaging Technologies (Kafka, MQ, JMS)
3+ years of experience using framework such as Spring Boot/Play or equivalent, Microservice Architecture
3+ years of experience in Cloud Based technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent
3+ years of experience using one or more Relational & non-relational NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis), SQL and PL/SQL
Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions
Well versed in CI/CD concepts and tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.
What would be great to have:
Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology.
Familiarity with test automation tools such as Tosca, Junit, Mockito, and Gherkin.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
Familiarity or some experience with Splunk, Bitbucket, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Jira and Confluence
Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions.
Financial services industry experience.
Experience with analytics and performance monitoring.
Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.
Experience with security implementations. i.e. Voltage, Sonatype, WebInspect, Fortify.
