Position Title:
Instrumentation Maintenance Mechanic
Pay Rate:
Starts at $38.77 (position pays up to $42.22 depending on shift and qualifications)
Category/Shift:
4 -10 work schedule unless required to cover a shift position.

The Job You Will Perform:
- Instrumentation & control valve calibration
- Preventative maintenance rounds
- Troubleshooting & repair.
- Position does require that you enroll into Oregon State Electrical apprenticeship to receive Limited Manufacturing Plant Journeyman (LMPJ) License. Company does sponsor your tuition but school hours are to be completed on employees own time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two year Associate Degree in a related field or a registered apprenticeship or similar formal training is required
- Three or more years of experience in Heavy Industrial Maintenance as an Instrumentation Technician
- Must possess high standards in the areas of safety, quality, ethics, craftsmanship, customer focus, and leadership skills
- Skilled in maintenance and troubleshooting of Instrumentation related equipment and process problems
- Preferred three years of maintenance in pulp and paper industry
Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
- Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment.
- 4 -10 work schedule unless required to cover a shift position.
- Work overtime when required and sometimes on short notice.
- Wear required safety equipment
- Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection)
The Benefits You Will Enjoy:
- Paid Vacation- Eligible for one week of vacation after six months of employment. Eligible for an additional week after 1 year of service. Vacations are paid out at 50 hours.
- 4 Floating Holidays after 90 days.
- 40 hours Oregon Paid Sick Leave (not pulled from vacation time.)

- 4 hours of call time paid if called in on non-scheduled basis or asked or schedule to work on assigned days off.)
