We are hiring for an IT&S Technical Lead at Padagis in New Hope, MN or in Allegan, MI. The Technical Lead will partner with the Padagis IT teams and with our IT managed service vendors on day-to-day operations of the IT technical solutions. Their primary focus of the technical lead, to ensure that the new technical solution aligns with the overall IT Strategy, are secure, performant, supportable and meets the needs of the Business. Also identify opportunities to improve our current technical solution.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Engage with IT colleagues to identify technical aspects of new solutions.
• Keep current on vendor roadmaps and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
• Contribute to the creation of the IT Strategy.
• Contribute to the introduction of structured methods aligned to industry best practice to ensure consistency across solution architecture e.g., design patterns.
• Effectively manage risk and ensure the architecture does not compromise the companies legal or compliance responsibilities.
• Be the subject matter expert for in-flight projects to provide guidance and advice on detailed design.
• Attend the Architecture Review Board to ensure new solutions are aligned with architecture principles and the IT Strategy.

Key Skills & Experiences

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Broad knowledge of IT technical solution e.g Networking, EUD, Servers, cloud
• Employing architecture design principles to ensure solutions are scalable, performant, secure and supportable.
• Highly developed communication, influencing and relationship skills, working collaboratively with external vendors.
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors to contribute to IT architecture(s).
• Creative thinker who can identify innovation opportunities to maximise the value of IT.
• A visible and approachable individual who can advise on detailed solution design approaches.
• Experience of running proof of concepts to prove technology fit and benefit.

Minimum Requirements

• University Degree of equivalent
• Typically a minimum of 6 years work experience required
