Syneren is looking for a customer service oriented IT Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the first line of defense for all IT related matters. You will solve basic technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.

Job Description
Syneren is looking for an experienced Senior Help Desk Specialist to provide on-site technical support to users for our federal client. You will solve technical problems and provide user support, including VIP users. The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to workstations, o365, mobile devices, network, software, and hardware
- Respond to queries via phone, email, MS Teams, and in person
- Enter, track and update tickets in Ticketing System
- Install and test both software and hardware
- Assist with workstation imaging
- Provide white-glove support to VIP users
- Document SOPs, and help improve processes
- Mentor other Help Desk Specialists
- Monitor systems daily and provide reporting
- Provide System Administration duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must have current, active Secret Clearance
- Associate's degree or higher degree in a related field
- 2+ years' experience Help Desk support
- Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+
- Experience with PIV/CAC and RSA tokens
- Experience with iPhone and o365
- Knowledge of VTC systems
- Knowledge of Citrix Servers and maintenance concepts
- Experience with PowerShell and other scripting skills
