Process and maintain user accounts and system access. Provide first level software, hardware, LAN and WAN help desk support for local, remote (Virtual Private Network) and field personnel. Install and configure new virtual and physical Server operating systems including Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP roles. Configure and maintain user VOIP resources including analog to digital implementations. Deploy new and reconfigured computers and maintain technology database including hardware and software license assignments. Configure, maintain and deploy local and remote Multifunction Print Devices including print queue management.
Key Job Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain user desktop and laptop computer population in local and remote facilities. Maintain technology resource database complete with hardware asset and software license assignments.
Process employee new hire, termination and transfer requests including new computer build and deployment.
Support users in a help desk environment and assist in resolving issues regarding either software or hardware. Track help desk calls and provide trend analysis.
Maintain Microsoft Active Directory User security and resource access.
Install, configure, upgrade and maintain network printing, directory structures, including user network rights, security, and VOIP configurations.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network and application access problems.
Perform data backups of all systems.
Qualifications/Requirements
University program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mathematical skills

Reasoning ability
Good communication
Knowledge of workstation pc and server hardware
Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems both workstation and server systems
Knowledge of Office applications
Knowledge of various server applications such as Citrix Metaframe, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Terminal Services, SQL Server
Ability to troubleshoot network hardware, workstation and server hardware and software
Knowledge of LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) operation
