Position Summary
Manages all aspects of inventory control.

Personal Protective Equipment Required:

  • Obey GMPs for production areas.

Tasks:

  • Manages all inventory control systems, processes and procedures.
  • Maintains Inventory Management System.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy through managing the cycle counting program and other inventory control procedures.
  • Ensures proper rotation of products.
  • Ensures accurate inventories in all production and warehouse areas.
  • Supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices.
  • Reports project plans, progress, and results.
  • Collaborates with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements, to take advantage of sales opportunities or, in the case of shortages, to minimize negative impacts on a business.
  • Develops an understanding of customers' needs and takes actions to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Works with Cost Accounting to implement and execute accurate material planning and consumption processes.
  • Provides effective leadership to ensure that practices and procedures are followed on a consistent basis.

  • Works with warehouse and plant personnel on inventory and consumption issues.
  • Work with procurement and quality team to adjust inventory or resource number changes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of bachelor’s degree three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
