Position Summary:The Integrations Engineer II will develop, configure, implement, and support basic to advanced integration interfaces from defined specifications. The position will work with on-boarding new data sources and in migration of existing data feeds. This position will also support integration testing during the life cycle of the project, perform feed migration, and anticipate enterprise-wide issues taking a proactive action to remediate. Will work under limited supervision and guidance while typically serving as secondary escalation point on connectivity, data quality, and standards adherence issues.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, test and support complex integrations with multiple vendors and clients that require higher levels of support and intervention as well as advanced interoperability standards.
- Strong communication skills while managing expectations with participants on delivery working with leadership to escalate as necessary.
- Coordinate changes with multiple teams of project managers.
- Conduct and document results on validations for HL7, C-CDA, XDS.b, Webservice, API and other basic interoperability standards.
- Work with the vendor, internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrations comply with CyncHealth data standards and specifications aligned with enterprise standards for data quality.
- Monitoring the interoperability environment for interface related issues and assist in diagnosing integration issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure product/interfaces work as expected.
- Work with CyncHealth participants to understand the customer's product-specific requirements and configuration.
- Design and execute unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports.
- Protect assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the organization.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Advanced understanding of HL7, CCD, Webservices, and API integration preferred
- 4 years' experience in related technical field required
- 2 years' Healthcare IT experience preferred.
- Prior experience with Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Intersystem and/or Ensemble, or a similar engine is preferred
- Prior experience with EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or certified EHR/EMR preferred.
- Advanced ability to read vendor specifications and perform gap analysis.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at one given time.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, Webservice and MLLP connectivity required
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Light work requiring exertion up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
