Job Description:
Based on established guidelines, the Intake Specialist processes a variety of internal and external member/provider requests and transactions via phone.
Receives, screens, and enters data in preparation for review.
Complies with timeliness standards for authorization request and rework by accurately processing requests.
May also assist on special projects as needed.
**Required: Customer Service experience, inbound calls, fast paced environment, computer skills (MS Office).
**avg. 100 calls per day.
Due to us being a small call center with few staff it is a high call volume per person.
**Needs a fast-paced, multitasking individuals among multiple systems and screens, and great customer service.
A lot of same tasks as Customer Service (0-2 years).
Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience displaying courtesy
REQUIRED: The candidates MUST have customer service background and excellent computer skills.
Must have Hard wired home internet ( not Wi-fi) and dedicated work space to WFH. Detail oriented, Can work independently, Reliable, Quick learners

Medicare intake role for Winston Salem or Durham location
local candidates only - In the office as needed (onsite meeting)
Internet speed test and questionnaire, Computer along with word and excel competency testing required also.
