Concordia Visiting Nurses has a great full-time opportunity at our Valencia office location. We are seeking to hire an Insurance Verification Supervisor. This position comes with an extensive benefits package.
The Insurance Verification Supervisor oversees the processes and procedures to ensure that accurate patient, physician and payer information is recorded for all patients

QUALIFICATIONS Insurance Verification Supervisor:
- Computer skills: Word and Excel Spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily work load
- Prior experience in data entry
- Prior knowledge of medical terminology
- One year’s experience with insurance verification
- High School education required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Insurance Verification Supervisor:
- Ensures that sound insurance verification process is being followed
- Creates new processes as needed
- Communicates with Management regarding any payer changes or new requirements
- Verifies all potential payer sources for patients on an on-going basis
- Data Enters patient, physician, and payer information into agency’s software system
- Verifies physician information
- Communicates with patients regarding their admission and potential financial responsibility
- Documents referral information on excel spreadsheets
- Prepares and reviews statistical reports
- Completes task list daily
