Ideal Background

:
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.

Registration:
Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred or may be required.

Experience:
This position requires 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.

This opportunity supports the strategic plan of our client by providing detailed Instrumentation engineering on existing chemical plants, major expansions and debottlenecking of existing plants and infrastructure facilities, and timely engineering response. This individual will provide project engineering support during conception, design, and execution.

What You'll Be Doing

:
  • Improve consistency and completeness of Feed Deliverables to Design Engineering
  • Work with other business roles to develop appropriate level of scope using good judgment: not too much and not too little
  • Broad I/E technology background or ability to quickly learn it.
  • Broad understanding of project process and stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Design Deliverables
  • Strong understanding of project interdependencies with other business and Engineering/Construction stakeholders; i.e. what information is needed, when it is needed, who needs it, etc.
  • Strong initiative, communication, and innovation to drive more competitive project results
  • Work daily with CM business resources such as Project Managers, Man Reps, Maintenance Engineers, and Operations, Maintenance, Asset, Business management.
  • Maintenance team members are aware of and appropriately participating and have communications on needs dates, project timelines, etc.
