Campus, formerly known as MTI College, a Sacramento-based independent ACCJC-accredited junior college, seeks an Institutional Support Coordinator. The successful candidate provides administrative and analytical support to Campus administration to support its mission to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for pursuing successful careers.

The Institutional Support Coordinator offers personnel administrative support in the areas of:

  • Assists with the coordination of semi-annual Employer Advisory Board meetings and other meetings and workshops as needed.
  • Following the grade deadline, retrieves class evaluation survey data each term, submitting it to the respective department chair for review and distribution to faculty.
  • Generation of other campus-wide or departmental reports as needed
  • Coordinates the distribution of the New Student Survey
  • Serves as a lead proctor for certification tests.
  • Processes all certificate requests for graduates.
  • Assist with hiring activities, including updating the new hire packet, processing new hire paperwork, and ensuring the new hire receives all required equipment and materials.
  • Processes all background checks (new employees, medical students, externship sites, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains faculty personnel files and updates the database with faculty contact information.
  • Assists the updating personnel and procedure manuals as needed.
  • Attends regularly scheduled department meetings and semiannual staff & faculty meetings.
  • Attends and assists in the coordination of semi-annual graduation ceremonies in addition to other institution-sponsored activities.
  • Assists department chairs in the assessment of student learning outcomes for assigned area(s).
  • Provides coverage of main desk reception - Greeting all visitors and directing them to the proper individual or department.
  • Answers and directs all incoming campus phone calls.
  • Directs inquiry, new lead calls, and walk-ins to an Advisor to set up appointments. Assists with new student orientations.

Healthcare Department

  • Label and place vaccine records into common drive student files each term.
  • Organizes and coordinates the distribution of medical scrubs.
  • Assists in the coordination of CPR scheduling.
  • Creates medical student files, files necessary documents, and purges files when necessary.
  • Keeps medical hallway stocked with office supplies.
  • Assists in creating course shells on the College’s learning management system and registering students into those classes.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
