Installer/Fabricator

DCC Automation/Dairy Conveyor is a national company, specializing in conveyor systems and packaging equipment for the dairy, beverage, and ice cream industries. In January, our MN site moved into a new building in Inver Grove Heights, and we are now adding members to our team! Could you be our next Installer/Fabricator, working both at our new facility and throughout the US?

*** This position requires frequent travel to sites by air/car, overnights and weekends are likely. All travel is arranged and pre-paid by administration; you will be given generous per diems for meals prior to the travel. Travel varies by need, but will be approximately 50% of the time. ***

Experience greatly preferred with the following skillsets: welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical, as well as rigging.

Applicants MUST have experience in:

• Stick and TIG welding
• Parts/machine assembly.
• Operating a scissor lift and a fork truck

Due to the nature of off-site work, applicants cannot be afraid of heights (work always takes place within a building).

Position Requirements:

• Layout and fabricate metal weldments and assemblies, based on instructions/information given via drawings, specification sheets, and verbal instructions
• Assemble conveyor and equipment components accurately and according to schedule
• Must work professionally and collaboratively with fellow staff members and management to meet deadlines, and be able to work independently while off-site
• Maintain a clean work area, while complying with all required safety measures

Please note this position requires physical labor which includes bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Position Benefits:

• Day shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, when working onsite (travel hours may include evenings and weekends)

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
