Job description
This position is responsible for all accountabilities of inspection of vehicles on rail cars and on the ground in rail facilities. Inspection responsibilities consist of identifying, evaluate, and classify damages to the vehicle and recording results using a hand held scanning device.
JOB DUTIES
- Completing final inspections of finished vehicles in a rail yard
- Processing checklists
- Working with scanners/codes & mobile devices
- Physical demands require walking and standing
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Managing excess parts inventory
- Organize and fill store parts orders
- Utilizing parts scanner and computer
REQUIREMENTS
- Background check & Drug Test Required
- 6" hight CSA approved Safety Boots
Inspector Wage: $14.50/hour - day and afternoon and overnight shifts available.
