General Summary:
Under general supervision, is responsible for the assisting with the technical aspects of CLIENT’s business applications systems and providing support and assistance to end users. Coordinates and supports Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and related CLIENT applications, including QAD production control system. Supports efficient operations of the system by partnering with key contributors and end-users.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supports and provides end user assistance related to various CLIENT applications and QAD.
  • Develops and implements system training, ensures end users have the necessary tools and instruction to operate various systems.
  • Develops and maintains user documentation & scope of work (SOW) for IT business system applications.
  • Improves user experience by developing simplified screens, custom browsers, dashboards and/or other features targeted at productivity and efficiency.
  • Investigates and responds to users’ issues and re-occurring problems; evaluates, tests and resolves issues.
  • Performs and/or oversees software and application installation and upgrades.
  • Installs, configures, and maintains personal computers, printers, and related equipment.
  • Provides on call support.
  • Assists with other technical issues as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Level of Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Programming or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to five years of Information Technology experience including QAD, SAP, and/or ERP Systems, preferably in an automotive and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experiencewith Eagle RF Express (or other bar code solution), Report Writer (Cyberquery, PowerBI, BI, or SQL), and/or Linux is preferred.
Safety Responsibilities:

Follows all safety procedures related to proper use and care of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Technical skills and experience/knowledge of IT System implementation(s)/integration and/or ERP system implementation(s); Knowledge and understanding of computer networking principles. Knowledge of progress database programming preferred. Ability to adapt to new technologies and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to delegate and deploy resources, tasks and/or assignments to others cross-functionally; Offers solutions and provide helpful research/advice to team members while focusing on common and shared goals.
  • Customer Service and the ability to consistently demonstrate strong commitment to internal and external stakeholders needs, feedback, interests and desires; seeks solutions with a positive approach to prioritizing the work and issues at hand.
