As a Industrial Engineer, you will drive improvements in production in Motion, Drive Product in New Berlin, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be developing of standards, processes and schedules, and the utilization of facilities and staff to improve production, maintenance, or related operations. It also encompasses work distribution and simplification, process flow and section layout. Planning, conducting or coordinating a range of complex engineering activities encompassing one or more engineering disciplines. Conducting or coordinating complex analyses and develop recommendations based on sound engineering practices and business considerations. Proactively developing and implementing measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction.

Advanced Manufacturing Manager
Your responsibilities
- Create and maintain required manufacturing process documentation, including but not limited to facility layout, process flow charts, VSM, capacity and utilization studies, takt time assessments, time and motion studies, standard work instructions, cycle time analysis, and line balancing, labor routings
- Knowledge or experience in discrete event simulation tools to validate line capacities and perform line design iterations
- Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate and support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
- Work with cross-functional teams including, operations, material planning & scheduling, manufacturing engineering, quality, and product engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD, Creo, Solid Works, and MS Office. Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Ability to work autonomously and self-directed. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
Your background
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience required
- Previous experience working with industrial engineering in a manufacturing environment highly preferred
- Travel up to 10% of the time required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
