Incoming/Receiving Inspector position is within the Quality department for the review and inspection of purchased material. The inspector shall verify conformance of incoming materials by performing various inspection types on a wide array of commodities of material. This includes the inspection of mechanical fabrication/machined parts, circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, electrical components, etc. The inspector shall also review and approve AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports, issue non-conformance reports, assist with stock purges, support metrology, and interface with various departments.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School/GED and at least 1 year of experience in similar inspection role
- Experience with inspecting mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies using common inspection tools which include, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, etc.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Familiarity with Military and Industry specifications and standards
- Ability to review and verify conformance and traceability documentation
- Ability to review First Article Inspection reports
- Ability to interpret and inspect to technical specifications and drawings
- Ability to enter all information into the Quality Management System Database
- Inspection of wiring assemblies per IPC-A-620 (preferred), Inspection of Cable Inspection of Circuit Card Assemblies IPC-A-610 (nice to have)
