This role exists to perform a variety of basic technical tasks related to assisting in the service and repair of all heating, air conditioning, and related equipment and facilities located throughout all Dollywood Company properties. All of this will be done in a manner consistent with the mission, values and operating philosophies and standards of the Dollywood Company.
Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in repairing mechanical and electrical systems on heating and cooling equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of heating and cooling equipment.
- Periodically monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper .
- Use the TMA work order system to see weekly work assignments and record time and materials for each work assignment
- Investigate heating and air conditioning complaints; performs minor repair.
- Installs air and water filters on various equipment across all Dollywood Company properties on a periodic basis.
- Assesses drain problems and performs any needed repairs.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain parts and tool inventory.
- Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write reports as required.
- Must work independently as well as in a team setting.

- Able to work at heights up to and in excess of 150ft.
- Able to operate/drive a motor vehicle.
- Able to endure approved exposure levels to various chemicals found in cleaning solvents, adhesives, paints, and lubricants
- Able to use hand tools, power tools and equipment such as air compressor, skill saw, electric drill, impact wrench, hand wrenches, shovel, etc.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Able to be clean shaven in order to properly utilize a respirator.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- At least 6 months experience of HVAC , preferred.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of basic heating and cooling systems.
- Must successfully complete a post-employment offer background check including motor vehicle and drug screen.
