Job Overview:
The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership to the Human Resources office. The HR Manager will manage the daily operations of Training and Staffing and Recruitment. The HR Manager will coordinate all activities involving Human Resources management of these functional areas. This position will report to the property HR Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and the property HR Director is informed of any and all incidents or potential problems involving enterprise employees
- Must be bi-lingual in Spanish
- Must be able to speak, write and read in English and Spanish
- Manages and directs the work of the Training department and the Staffing and Recruitment departments to ensure employees are receiving access, information and resources as appropriate
- Trains the Training Specialist to conduct all company-wide training programs
- Manages the recruitment, interview and pre-employment processes, adhering to company policies and practices
- Serves as a consultant to the operational managers regarding disciplinary/termination situations
- Partners with operational managers to ensure Personnel Action Records (PARs) are completed, performance documentation is completed and all required paperwork is reviewed, approved (when necessary) and processed
- Ensures the HR employees keep files properly maintained and documentation is filed in employee HR files
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED– required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience- required
- OR Four (4) years’ experience in a management position- required
- OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Supervisory position with Wind Creek Hospitality- required
- Three (3) years verifiable employment experience directly relating to Human Resources- required
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish- required
- SPHR/PHR certification (or enrolled/scheduled for exam)- required
- Prior experience with supervising staff professionals and work flow- required
- Three years (3 years) classroom training experience- required
- Excellent computer skills; Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Great Plains (may be required to complete and successfully pass skills assessment 70% pass rate)- required
- Experience and skills managing industry changes and trends in one or more HR functional areas- required
- Must possess a high level of maturity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with recruitment processes, applicant tracking systems, conducting job screenings in English and Spanish- required
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours if necessary; Willingness to work evenings, holidays, or weekends as needed
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a Florida Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
