QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
:
- College degree or 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role preferred.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to resident’s, resident families and other employees of the company.
- Must have background in HR.
- Must have ability to communicate with residents and personnel, ability to read and write in English and ability to remain calm under stress.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: The employee must be able to perform these essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation by the employer, without posing a direct threat to himself/herself or to others. (This list may not include all of the duties – this position will be responsible for other duties as assigned.)
- Provide back-up assistance to the Corporate HR Director with employee issues and concerns.
- Provide back-up assistance to the HR Director with Open Enrollment; understanding benefit packages, helping employees with enrollment education and resetting login information.
- Assisting facilities with standard HR practices.
- Assisting with Human Resources reports.
- Resource to employees and Department Managers related to Human Resources.
- Provide back-up assistance to the HR Director for FMLA, worker’s compensation, employment verifications, and unemployment in communicating with the Corporate Human Resources office.
- Maintains a safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits.
- Participates in training, in-services, and attends meetings as required.
- Uses sound judgement based on factual information, seeking guidance as required.
- Continual contact with employees inside and outside the department. Contact with resident’s and resident families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
